We had these adorable little lime green bags made up for our customers at the Tucson Bead shows this year. Since then we have had them in the store for sale and I thought we should also offer them online. Bead Stash Bags! Everyone seems to love them and I think our online customers should have the opportunity to own one too. In fact, the first 10 customers who answer this question correctly will win one free of charge!
You can find the answer in one of Heather’s blogs on the website. What year did Miriam Haskell open her first costume jewelry boutique in New York? Email me your answer and include your name and address. We won’t sign you up to send you snail mail or even email (unless you want us to). It’s just for this little contest.
And… I wanted to highlight a few “bead stash” worthy items I found browsing our website. I’m always in the office and don’t get to see all the beads that come into the store (which is a good thing, or my bead stash would take over!). From time to time I look around downstairs or online to see what I’ve missed. I love this purple vintage pendant (top, right) The purple in the old glass is somehow “more purple.” You don’t see that color in the new glass. The second pendant is from our Swarovski collection (middle, right). This is my new favorite color of Swarovski! I t’s even better in person. This will be a bead you’ll be glad you have in your collection some day when they stop making either the pendant or the color or both. The last one is one of Swarovski’s beautiful leaf pendants (bottom, right). This is one of the prettiest colors of green I’ve seen and I’m sorry, but I think leaves should be green (or red or orange or yellow). We are in New England after all. Now before you guys go and buy these all up so I can’t have one, I’m running downstairs to scoop up one of each and put it…hmmmm I’m running out of room! |
