Bead Collector
Jan: The Beadin' Path Co-OwnerGetting to know… ME!
Ok, well this is the week. This is the week you get to see what I look like. I was going to wow you and put up a picture of some gorgeous girl so I did a Google search on “gorgeous girl picture.” NOT a good idea! Wow! Now I feel really dowdy! Not to mention um, under-endowed and droopy. I didn’t find anything right away that was uh… appropriate to put here and decided it was not a good idea to keep looking, especially not here at work or at home for that matter. Reg would really wonder what kind of research I was doing!
Heather, Chris & Max: The Beadin' Path Co-Owner, Husband & Son
And The Family
Ok, first came Reg. We dated for 3 years while I was in high school and he was in college. A couple years after we got married, along came our daughter Heather who owns The Beadin’ Path with me. After Heather came our daughter Sarah who now lives in Arizona: the bum! When she was growing up she promised to live at home forever and marry the dog! Heather was the one that couldn’t wait to leave home and go out on her own and now she lives down the road from us and works with me! She can’t get a break. Next came Chris, our one and only son-in-law (at least so far, Sarah!). A few years after Chris came Max. Wow, everyone always said it was great having grandchildren. Your “reward for not strangling your teenagers” and all. Max is the best! Smart, precocious, handsome (well just look at his parents!) polite, brave, curious, and lovable. Here is a picture of Heather, Chris and Max.

Alex the Sleeping Bead Baby
And The Newest Addition
Then last but not least (at least so far, Sarah) is Alex. He is the little angel sleeping, pictured at left. That was taken a few months ago. Now he’s trying to keep up with his brother. He is crawling, pulling himself up to stand, sitting, flinging himself off couch cushions that Max put on the floor to jump on, pulling things over on himself and laughing through it all.

And finally, at last, here are a couple pictures of Reg and I at our favorite place – Disney World. Specifically, Epcot. Reg looks like he’s frowning in this first picture but he’s not. There was another one almost like this that was better of him, but it was worse of me sooooo since I’m choosing, this one wins. No airbrushing here… we start at the gym tomorrow.
