Designed by Kristin Burgess
Spread Holiday cheer with this delightfully festive floral Bracelet. The Scarlet Vintage lucite flowers paired with soft gold toned jingle bells are sure to catch your eye! Any bells will work so consider silver as an alternative option. Create this beautiful gift by printing the tutorial at home and follow our step-by-step instructions.

This project is great for all levels. Stringing/crimping and a small amount of wirework are neccessary to complete the Poinsettia Bracelet. This bracelet is 7 and 1/4 inches long. It can be made longer as there are leftover parts. If you are unsure of the final length you will want to start by stringing the pattern, before you attach the crimp and clasp, onto the softflex spool. This way you can literally bring it around your wrist to double check the length you need and then attach your findings last.
Step 1:
To make the flower charms you will need the headpins, the lucite flowers and the Swarovski crystal bicones. Stack one crystal onto the headpin then stack two lucite flowers onto the pin. Using your roundnose pliers make a coiled eyepin. We also carry a book,
All Wired Up by Mark Lareau, that is great for learning to work with wire. Make the loop very small (only softflex wire will need to pass through this later on) and as close to the back of the flower shape as possible. Putting a coil or two will make it secure. As you wrap postition the flowers in opposite directions from one another. This makes the flower shape look more like a poinsetta then say a violet by creating more points or petals. Trim the leftover wire and discard. Now make 6 of these 'flower charms' total. Set aside.
Step 2:
Now that the flowers are prepared for later stringing the leaves need to have rings attached. Using the flat or thin line pliers are used to open up the jump rings. Open jump rings by swinging one side of the ring to the side. With the ring swung to the side a lucite leaf can be fed onto the ring and the ring is swung back down into place without losing it's initial round shape. Make sure the ring has no opening as the softflex wire is thin and you want these attachments to be secure. Attach one ring to each leaf and there are a total of 14 leaves used in this project.
Step 3:
Using the crimper tool and a 14kt. gold fill crimp bead attach one side of the toggle to a precut foot of the softflex wire. The pattern to string is as follows...
1 Czech drop, 1 Czech rondelle, 1 ring with leaf on it, 1 Czech rondelle, 1 ring with leaf on it, 1 Czech rondelle, 1 Czech drop, 1 poinsettia charm, 1 jingle bell then repeat pattern from the beginning starting with the drop and so on until there are seven inches of length. Attach the other end of the toggle to the other end of the bracelet once you've double checked the length you desire.
