Gold Shimmy Bangles
Designed by Ashley Bunting
Lucite bangles are fun and come in great colors, but I've been there, done that. I wanted to really change and add something new to the vintage bangles. Wrapping a bangle in chain gives you the ability to embellish to your hearts content. The chain links create perfect connecting points to drop beads and charms off of.

Step 1: Cut four feet of chain. Wrap the entire 4ft of chain around one bangle, attach the beginning of the chain the end using a 4mm jump ring.

Step 2: Make seven elongated lime rice bead dangles and fourteen olivine round moonglow bead dangles. Do this by feeding one bead on to a head pin and turning a loop.
Step 3: Attach two moonglow bead dangles and one rice bead bangle to the outside of one chain wrap. Skip five chain wraps and attach another three bead dangles to the sixth wrap. Repeat until you fill the bracelet.
Step 4: Cut a six inch length of chain. Wrap it twice around a few bangles, and trim so the two ends meet and don't overlap. Attach the two ends together using a 4mm jump ring.
Step 5: Make four moonglow bead dangles and one rice bead dangle. Attach them to the chain wraps.
The End!
