Chrysanthemum Necklace

Fall is coming and this necklace is a great transitional piece.   Deep plum flowers paired with bright yellow leaves help usher in crisp mornings and sunny afternoons.

Step1: Make the three flower focal pieces. Do this by feeding one jet 6mm flower, one plum swirl flower, another jet 6mm flower and two yellow heart leaves (cupped toward the flower) on to a head pin.  Position the leaves slightly apart, trim the head pin and turn a loop. Repeat for the other two focal pieces. 

Step 2: Make eight crystal flower links.  Place one jonquil crystal flower on an eye pin and turn a loop. Repeat for the other seven crystals.  Connect the links together.  After two links connect a flower focal piece, repeat until all components are connected.

Step 3: Cut two eight inch pieces of chain and attach them to either side of the crystal section.  Make a crystal dangle by feeding a jonquil crystal flower on to a head pin and make a closed wrapped loop.  Attach the dangle and the clasp to the ends of the chain.
