Lotus Pendant Necklace
Designed by Ashley Bunting
Crystal rivolis are gorgeous but can cause some design anxiety due to their lack of a hole. Why not make your own bezel? Metal flowers can be bent into elegant bezels to showcase these delightful crystals. This is a quick easy project that yields a product that looks dignified and hand forged.

Step1: Make the flower bezel. While looking at the back of the flower gently press all the petals so they slightly cup towards you. Using pliers bend the outer bands of the flower petals up even further. Set the rivoli in the flower so its point sits in the flower's center hole. Using pliers bend every other flower petal band down on top of the rivoli so they are snug and hold the rivoli in place. Bend the flower petal bands that are not holding the crystal. Bend the tips of them slightly back towards the base petals.
Step 2: Glue the flower bezel to the rose cut-out. Do this by using E6000 on the back of the bezel and pressing the bezel down on top of the center of the rose cut-out.
Step 3: Attach two 9" pieces of chain to the cut-out. Using jump rings feed them onto the top petal of the rose cut-out and through the ends of each chain. To the other ends of the chain attach the lobster claw clasp using a jump ring and a jump ring to the other end. Let the glue dry over night.
The End!
