Majestic Flora Necklace Print

Majestic Flora Necklace
Designed by Ashley Bunting
Wavy Earth toned lucite leaves matched with shining vintage metals combine to make this structural floral necklace. We received numerous calls inquiring about these leaves in the past year. They were used in a publication of Bead Style Magazine in a piece designed by Jane Konkel. Her necklace was awesome! We were extremely inspired by her unique necklace and set out to design a piece of our own.

Step1: Make thirty leaf connectors. Do this by placing one cocoa brown twist leaf onto an eye pin and turn a loop. Also make six leaf connectors out of the dark olive green twist leaves. Using fifteen brown leaf connectors and nine jump rings duplicate the pattern in the image below. The finished brown majestic_flora_leaf_patternleaf section will be a trapezoid shape. Using the other fifteen brown leaf connectors make another brown leaf trapezoid section.

Step 2: Attach two green leaf connectors together using a jumg ring. Attach the two connectors to the last jump ring on the shorter side of one of the trapezoids. Attach one green leaf connector to the last jump ring on the longer side of the trapezoid. Repeat on the other brown leaf trapezoid.

Step 3: Feed a head pin through the free loops at the ends of green leaf connectors. Bring the head pin up through the back of a copper 60mm flower and up through the back of a gold 32mm flower. Feed a 3mm amber lucite bead onto the head pin and finish the stack by turning a loop.

Step 4: Make four bead dangles using the 3mm amber lucite beads. Feed 4 beads onto a head pin and turn a loop. Make another bead dangle with 4 beads and two more with 3 beads. Make two more bead dangles using majestic_flora_flower_close_upthe smokey quartz rough cut beads. Make one with 2 beads and one with 3 beads. Attach all the beads dangle to the middle of the flower stack. Do this by feeding all the loops you made onto the loop you made in the middle of the flower.

Step 5: Connect the other end of the long side of the trapezoid to 2" of chain. Do this by opening the jump ring that is holding the last leaves together and feed the end of the chain on. Repeat on the other side. Attach the lobster claw clasp to one end of the chain majestic_flora_clasp using a jump ring.

The End!
