Vintage Matte Metal Flowers. We simply love layering vintage metal flowers with lucite flowers. They stack so well & make great bold earrings, pendants or even bracelet corsage centerpieces. We find the metal parts, mostly made in the US ca 1960's through 80's, and have them plated with a matte sterling silver & a matte 24k gold. Here are some of our favorite flower finds...
Lucite Flower Beads. Stack them. Cascade them. Layer them. Wear them. You can create a virtual flower garden around your wrist, dripping from your ears, or collaring your neck with lucite flowers. We have a few vintage finds available still, but most are now in reproduction in FarEast Asia and Germany. Did you know you can custom dye your own if you purchase the Crystal Matte color? Here is a great article loaded with tips how: http://www.beadinpath.com/index.php/Bead-Blogs-Archives/the-art-of-dyeing-lucite.html
Glass Flower Beads. We have loads of vintage glass flowers & have supplemented our collection with contemporary glass flower beads from all over Europe. These work well with both the metal & lucite flowers we have mentioned. You'll find that the vintage German glass flower beads are getting harder & harder to find. We love to hoard them when we find them.
Chrysanthemum Necklace.

Fall is coming and this necklace is a great transitional piece. Deep plum flowers paired with bright yellow leaves help usher in crisp mornings and sunny afternoons.
