We stumbled upon these very old bricks of antique Italian seed bead hanks about 6 months ago. They are in the âChristmas beadâ style and feature loads of rainbow colors. Most likely made for the demands of the African trade, these Italian beauties will give you a whole color palette within 1 hank of beads. Forecasts show that opaque white will be a big player in the Spring & Summer fashion trends. It makes me think back to years ago when weâd find vintage glass beads & there would be sprinklings of brighter colors contrasted with WALLS of opaque white. People couldnât give it away. I had the opportunity 15 years ago to purchase perhaps 15,000 lbs of just opaque white class at $1 a lb! At the time, that seemed crazy because I knew Iâd be holding those glass beads for while. Well that investment would have paid for itself this season.
