Vintage Lucite Elephants. Did you know that an elephant rearing his trunk is a good luck symbol? We found these darling creatures in a basement dig – they were made ca. 1970’s and 80’s in Germany. Press-moulded, these pieces come with an embedded bail so they are the perfect pendant component or they make great, bold earrings. Retro fabulous & fun, there is a very limited amount of these, and they are available in a nice color range.
Old Metal Knots. Knots are a great symbol: unity, strength in the combination of more than one. These aged copper & brass pieces are oxidized or aged, over time. They were likely made in the US ca. 1960’s. We found a very limited amount of these, so they’ll go fast. They’re great if you love an aged or Steampunk look to your metals & go great with our vintage chain selections.
Vintage Agate Lucite Pendants. These were found with the elephants. Another great component, featuring 2 holes, that was press molded in Germany ca. the 1970’s – 80’s. Marbled plastics in varying hues create the look of stone or ‘agate’. Each measures approximately ¾” x 1.25” – the perfect little pendant for your necklaces. Or link them together for a retro chic look.
Vintage Glass Pendants. We have some great vintage pressed glass pendants or centerpieces in our stash right now. Ranging from pressed pieces made in Czechoslovakia and then layered with reverse painting or image transfers, and intaglio or “carved” pendants from ca. 1940’s Japan made to emulate Jade, to extremely rare Bohemian cut leaded glass pieces: you’ll be certain to find items so lovely & rare, it will be hard to use them in a finished piece & you’ll want to add them to your vintage bead collection.
