Rough Cuts or English Cut Glass Beads:These ca. 1940âs - 50âs rough cut glass beads were press molded in Czechoslovakia. We have a stunning selection of colors for a bead of this age. Their less-than-glitzy finish makes these beads a perfect match as a spacer for gemstones, crystals or other more shiny glass beads. Colors include Vitrail, Crystal & more.
RARE Leaded Bohemian Crystals:These were a find! These chunky-sized 24mm leaded glass beads in crystal are labeled Made In Czechoslovakia, in the old boxes in which we found them. A great sized hole (about 2mm) leads me to believe these were produced for the chandelier market, and made to fit on metal rods & thick wires for lamp-makers. They make for a great center bead or tassel topper. Or make a chunky bracelet by pairing them with the above mentioned Rough Cut spacer beads.
Czech Glass Reverse Painted Pendants:We have a nice selection of vintage (ca. 1960âs & 70âs) reverse painted pendants in some really interesting motifs. The vintage pendants were press-molded in clear glass with an intaglio relief image seemingly âcarvedâ into the back. Then artisans painted the motifs by hand and coated the backings to secure the color. Very common components for costume jewelry designers in the 60âs & 70âs, such as Coro & Avon, they were usually simply hung on a chain. But they make fabulous earrings or centerpieces for beaded creations. A collectible for your vintage bead collection.
Vintage Resin Rose Pendants:These great pieces are seemingly âcarvedâ but they were actually pressed into molds to create their detail & relief. Likely made in SouthEast Asia of a resin composite or acrylic, we have found these vintage resin rose pendants in one great base color & custom dye them in our own exciting color palatte.
