Tweet Your Studio - Contest Results Twitter Happenings
What I love about Twitter is that one tweet, something seemingly chatty & random, can involve into something big. And fast. One of our BP Design Partners, Dawn O'Bryan-Lamb (@AWDawno on Twitter) was tweeting about her recent blog post focusing on her studio overhaul she had undergone on a long weekend...
A contest is born...
When Dawn's blog post seemed to generate many, many replies & tweets regarding others and how they felt about the state of their studios, an idea evolved. A day should be declared #TweetYourStudio Day. A day when any creative working in any medium, could share a peek into their space or their studio. The studio might inspire others. Or it might scare others. Seeds would be planted... "Oh, I could organize my collection of stamps this way too..." Or reality might set in for others "Oh... is that what can happen if I don't clean up after that last project?" We decided to co-sponsor & offer some prizes just to further sweeten the fun of the day. Dawn quickly posted some parameters for #TweetYourStudio day & the buzz began. There were a few hundred tweets using the hashtag #TweetYourStudio so word was spreading fast. Monday, tweeters tweeted their pics, and we all got to play crafty voyeur for the day. Here is a list of those who particpated & links to their Studio pics.

These photos were sent anonymously to a staff at The Beadin' Path who are not on Twitter - so no Twitter faves had an advantage in any way. And the winners are...
For the Category: Most Organized Space, our winner was @JessicaLeap. Here's a great shot of her crazy-tidy space. She won a $30 gift card to BeadinPath.com. Here is a link to Jessica's Etsy shop & you can check out her jewelry.
F or the Category: Holy Cow! How do you get any work done in there!, our winner was @JustaTish. Here's a shot of her space she so boldly and bravely shared with us. By the way, check out Tish's blog site. Her work is in no way representative of the place where the magic happens - here is her jewelry store - her jewelry is gorgeous! Tish won a $30 gift card to shop at BeadinPath.com.
For the Category: Best Use of a Small Space, the winner was @DreaBunny. Drea has done a fantastic job with her studio since she's just recently moved down the entire East Coast. She won a fabu organizer provided by Dawn O'Bryan-Lamb. (photo above). Here is Drea's blog & her Etsy site.
If you're on Twittter, follow all those who shared their studios. I can personally vouch for the fact that they're all creative & interactive tweeters & you will really enjoy them.
And if you're not yet on Twitter.com - you really should be!
